Nasa has released pictures of a prototype space suit, parts of which American astronauts could one day wear on the first manned mission to Mars.
The design uses luminescent wire to form a light on the front of the suit that can be personalised to help astronauts identify other individuals on their team.

JVLT 014 motorbike is neither only a motorcycle nor just a piece of furniture. It’s the result from the collaboration between Joe Velluto studio and a custom workshop, that synergetically let two different worlds meet and weave together.
All the pieces of the motorcycle are reinvented and corrupted with new elements coming from the house world. The front light is inspired by the old classic table lamps, the tank is thought as liquid container and is made by glass and cork, the seat is composed by slumped wood and felt, the abacus, in the end, is the counting archetype and takes place of the odometer.

British designer Thomas Heatherwick has revealed plans to create a cavernous public park in Abu Dhabi beneath a fragmented canopy resembling the cracked surface of the Arabian desert.
Occupying a 125,000 square-metre site, Thomas Heatherwick’s Al Fayah Park will provide play areas, picnic areas, vegetable gardens and cafes, interspersed with a variety of plants and flowers native to the Gulf.

inFORM is a Dynamic Shape Display built by designers from MIT Media Lab’s Tangible Media Group that can render 3D content physically, so users can interact with digital information in a tangible way. inFORM can also interact with the physical world around it, for example moving objects on the table’s surface.

Core Glow photoluminescent pebbles provide an interesting, almost ethereal feature to outdoor design. When the eco-friendly pebbles are exposed to light sources, (solar or otherwise) the special light capturing pigment within them becomes chemically excited and will ‘glow’ once that light source is removed. The luminescent material is a multi-activated, highly efficient powder cultivated from the earth, that enables light-storing with a long afterglow.
